So this Congressman acknowledges that the registry is unfair, but really is nonchalant about what to do about it. The sex offender registry is a human rights issue. Always has been. But as long a people "believe" they are safer with it, it will remain.

Time to pack up and leave this country - everyone will be in jail except the politicians.

Additionally sex offender are not given their right to the free practice of religion. I was recently told I was no longer welcome in the church I had been attending for 18 months because one person had found out how old my victim was when the abuse started. I suspect that our local NBC affiliate running a news story on the danger of sex offenders living near school bus stops did not helpl.

Yeah, Leave this country but we have to come back to renew our passports once a year and before we leave the State Department warns the receiving country we coming and offers them the option to reject us!
