Idiots such as the one making the comment does not know a thing about the people on the registry. He probably even knows less than the media, which isn't saying much.

I hope this is achieved for future litigation...

When the average IQ falls between 85 and 115 add alcohol and remove 30 points. Well that explains alot. Redneck plus alcohol equals plus or minus 60 points. Humm also answers a lot. this guy wants everyone to know just how upstanding and intelligent he is. How is that working out for him?

People like this normalise violence against Sex Offenders and the sad thing is so do the police as they always point out that the person that got killed was also a sex offender even if just in passing. As if somehow it really wasn't that big a deal. So this guy has a point and that is he thinks with all the re enforcement the judicial system gives his thinking errors he must be right. When politicians have spread lies of the vast numbers that are repeat offenders and how dangerous sex offenders are as they will strike again. One doesn't have to wonder where people like this come from. Our own politicians talk like a bunch of drunk rednecks. Problem is they are sober.

Although this guy is a moron and a criminal, I'm not so sure the first sentence of his comment is untrue.

Aside from the fact this guy "Travis," has the mentality of a bag of rocks, I suspect he himself has had intense fantasies of a sexual nature and is projecting by beating on line registrants. And of course given the fact "Travis" lives in Kentucky, kind of speaks for itself also. My concern though is the fact that the state and federal governments are "enabling" neanderthals just like "Travis" who in all probability is so miserable, he has found an outlet for his self-hatred.

Very good point and this same logic can be applied to the ones making these laws. We tend to lash out at what we see in ourselves. Placing a spin on things to make it look like they are so against something they will hunt the people down. As you say it involves self hatred that is projected on others. When the very politicians that lobby for sex offender laws are caught up in their own sex scandal one doesn't need to wonder what drives them. I would think given the number of sex crimes that go unreported we can assume there are a lot of guilty people out there promoting hatred that comes from within themselves. Those that protest the loudest often have something to hide.

We don't know if he is a criminal or not.

I meant that he has a criminal mentality.

That he does.

Actually Mark, a bag of rocks is more intelligent. They at least know how to lay there and do nothing.
In reality, the registry MUST come offline. People like this are abusing the information it contains. And the sad part is that the prosecutors are only slapping these guys on the wrist even if they kill or cause great bodily injury to the offender! The offenders are being treated worse than the trash we throw away on a daily basis. This has to stop. However, the GOP keeps using the offenders as a scapegoat to make stronger laws and improve their power base. What people don't realize is that as they erode the offenders rights they are eroding their own rights in the process.
