Vicki challenges those who cling to the offense based theory as a defining characteristic for the future. Prior to her current position Vicki was a manager at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company's Corporate Headquarters and retired after 25 years. She has used her organization skills for the last 40 years in the corporate arena, church and most recently in the movement to regain the civil and human rights of registrant families.

A growing number of respected people are saying that the events of 9/11 were that of a coup d’Etat against the US Constitution while others argue that the war on your basic freedoms has been underway for a couple of decades starting with the war on sex offenders via the sex offender registry laws that are now commonplace. Perhaps we do live in time of repeating history considering Martin Niemöller famous poem beginning with:

On Monday nights is our radio-role-play interview practice sessions for reform sex offender law activists “Molester Mondays with Bill Blathers” beginning October 29th 2012 and secondly, our standard talk radio program “Sex Offenders: EXPOSED!” where you will find interesting coverage of sex offenders legal issues in the news, interviews, and commentary beginning in January 2013.

In an effort to help balance the voices speaking out regarding people listed on the Sex Offender Registry list, SOclear Media Productions offers a radio program where Sex Offender Law Reform activists can practice their media interview verbal skills.

Our Radio-Role-Play program known as “Molester Mondays with Bill Blathers” is a weekly 90 minute program designed to provide role-play practice to questions and prompts by fictional host Bill Blathers (played by Tom Madison).

In January 2013, we will expand our BlogtalkRadio programming by offering a proactive “registered families” viewpoint that will usher in the missing components of the SOR list debate beginning to emerge in the United States today. Titled “Sex Offenders: EXPOSED!” will begin in January 2013.

As most people know, the news business is very competitive and that is why reporters are quick to get interviews with law enforcement and prosecutor offices in a rush to get the crime story ready for broadcast later in the day.

However, as with many controversies in life, there is always another side to the story that is typically not well covered in the news media. The voices of the “registered families” of this country are beginning to stand up and make their views known as to the other side of the story.

Dr. Fred Berlin, a professor at Johns Hopkins University, believes in the necessity of criminal penalties for pedophiles, but, he argues, thinking of pedophilia solely as a criminal mindset hamstrings our ability to control it. Berlin regards pedophilia as a treatable mental disorder. He'll join Doug on Tuesday to discuss our understanding of pedophilia and how we can manage and treat it before it leads to a pernicious incident.

I don’t know who you are sir, but I can tell you what you are worth. If your partner was to cut off your penis tonight, the world would laugh.

What a piece of shit is man.

Those are the most famous words of the most famous MRA, Angry Harry. Three sentences of absolute truth, the veracity of which has been yet again verified recently with the sexual mutilation of a southern California man by his wife, Catherine Kieu Becker.

According to police, Becker drugged her husband, tied him up, cut off his penis and tossed it into a running garbage disposal. She then informed police that “he deserved it.”

The reason?

They had a spat over a house guest and he wanted a divorce.

The public reaction?

Raucous laughter. In short, (no pun intended) a good time was had by all.

A Voice for Men Radio tonight will dedicate the show to this subject, which goes well beyond Becker and women like Lorena Bobbitt.

The population of high risk sex offenders has spiked in parts of Boston. Now the city faces a dilemma about integrating sex offenders into the community without compromising the safety of local residents. Sex offenders freed from jail are not eligible for Section 8 housing. For many, the only destination is the homeless shelter. And with loopholes in the law allowing sex offenders to legally declare residency at homeless shelters without actually staying there-- an untold number of high risk sex offenders are roaming the city’s streets.

Joining us today to talk through sticky situation are Carlos Cuevas, professor at the Northeastern University School of Criminology and Criminal Justice, Lyndia Downie, President of the Pine Street Inn, Representative Aaron Michlewitz, and Kate Vander Wiede, managing editor of The South End News.
