All the library has to do is install software to block that stuff. It's very simple to do, if they wanted to. And the lady who claims she has "worked" with ex-sex offenders is the typical Feminazi, IMO. She probably thinks all men are evil perverts just waiting to rape someone.

The lady at 2:35 is full of crap!
ReplyDeleteI just saw this: "We are ex-offenders...." I would love for an "ex-offender" to write for my SafeLibraries blog about viewing porn in public libraries and perhaps what results from that.
ReplyDeleteYou see, the libraries would not have porn so freely available if it were not for the American Library Association [ALA] misleading many people on the topic.
In other words, in cases where the "ex-offender" is held 100% responsible for the crime, it is possible a library that follows the ALA instead of the law is also partly responsible for the crime.
People just don't realize that because that legal theory has not yet been tested in court and they assume libraries themselves are blameless. I would love for that legal theory to be tested many times over, and I would love for an "ex-offender" to write about his experiences and perhaps his thoughts on whether the library enabled him to "offend" in the first place. For example, did he go to a particular library because he knew porn was available? So many questions could be asked.
So please, I'm all ears and I'll post your statements on my blog.
