I'm interested in moving to Portland, Oregon, as I know it is a good place for IT careers and because a business attorney recommended moving there.
I finished probation 3 years ago.
Anyone have advice?

Oregon is a decent place to live because the laws are more properly categorized, except they do have state tax and for some odd reason, they require attendants to pump your gas..
ReplyDeleteA great thing about Oregon is that S.O. registrants are not published online unless they are Level 3 (aka Predator). Also, I think you can petition to be removed from registration after 10 years. Also, I'm not aware of any restrictions against registrants such as parks, swimming pools, etc. I'm sure that's because there are relatively few people on the public list - therefore, there's way less (if any at all) hysteria. OH, and Oregon does NOT have any sales tax!!!
