OFF TOPIC - KS - STOP WAREHOUSING OUR CHILDREN

Playlist Description:
January 6, 2009 Residents of Sedgwick County, KS spoke before Legislators in regards to the illegal seizure of children and violations of State, Federal and Constitutional law against families. In 2005 the Legislators were told by Social Workers that they were to ignore laws. In 2008 the Secretary of SRS said that Social Workers in Sedgwick County were being bullied by the DA to falsify documents to remove children from their families. We are asking for an Outside Special Prosecutor to investigate and prosecute all individuals who have broken the law and violated the rights of children and their families.

And they have the nerve to call sex offenders monsters?!
It's a violent crime to look at a few pictures but it's OK to kidnap children on the street?!  ...from their own home?!  ...from school?!
OK, maybe the home environment they are being taken from may be considered worse than the alternative but social workers need to work within the system just like anybody else.  Lawmakers and the DA need to adhere to the rules and protections of the Constitution if they are to be effective...
Of course, we all know that the Constitution is just a piece of paper with molding ink to them and so are the laws that other government officials are meant to adhere to...

  5. Unfortunately, this problem is not confined to this particular area. This is a nationwide problem and from personal experience, the people who are the so called social workers that place the "children first" do not follow not only the law, but orders of the court as well. The time honored excuse being "it is for the safety of the children". Most of these people have little to no experience with children, are over worked, have little or no guidance as to what their duties truly are, and the list goes on. The courts are powerless to find these workers who disregard the courts order, in contempt or any other violation they incur. The children are terrorized by the very system that is the so called "protector", traumatized by the very removal from the home not knowing why, then once in the grasp of these workers, are told "why" and fed a lot of untrue statements in order to "build a case" against the parents. This as I said, is a nation wide disaster and until these powers that be, hold those responsible, the social workers, the DA's, the Courts themselves, this will continue to be a daily occurance throughout the nation.

  6. This reminds me of a comedy film from the 80's called "Improper Channels"
It starred Alan Arkin as a father trying to get his daughter back after an overzealous social worker abducts her and then proceeds to mess with his credit rating and other confidential information by virtue of an unrestricted computer database...
He gets revenge in the end but the thought is downright chilling!  The thought that a social worker could take a persons child would put me more on guard against the government than any so-called sex offender...
If I were a parent, anybody abducting my child (or attempting to) would be in a world of hurt!!
